My Story
Copperleaf Studio is where I make all my jewellery by hand. The view from my workbench inspired the name. The changing seasons often inspire and influence my designs. I love handmade and unique items. Their expressive quality can't be replicated any other way and no two pieces are the same!
From Hobby to Passion
Working in retail, jewellery-making began as a hobby. After taking metalsmithing classes, my passion ignited, and I found myself immersed in the world of copper and brass. This gave me new skills and confidence to build on my designs. And blossomed into this small business.
Individuality and Expression
At Copperleaf Studio, I celebrate individuality. I think handmade jewellery is a pretty big part of expressing that. No two pieces are quite the same—each necklace, earring, and pendant carries its own story. The way tools interact with metal creates different textures, contours, and subtle irregularities—making each creation one-of-a-kind, just like you.
My range is always evolving as I experiment with new styles, colours and textures. My primary materials are copper and brass. I love the rich red-orange and golden hues these metals have. They showcase and enhance semi-precious stones and beads beautifully.
